Art deco Kodak cameras designed by Walter Dorwin Teague. I’ve just finished my collection of his cameras with enamel face plates. Of his other cameras, I think I just have one more to go. Out of the ones that I want, anyways these are all from between 1929 and the mid 30s.

A legit BIFL that they still make: the Technics SL-1200. My dad used this as a full time nightclub DJ from 81-96 and now I use it all the time. My mom has the other and she uses it more than I do.

Got a new street photography lens. Asahi Takumar 500mm f5. It’s surprisingly sharp but the chromatic aberration is off the charts.

I found the perfect Art Deco piece. Not only is it beautiful - it outlines all of my states of existence. All for the low low price of $49. It’s some kind of quack medical device. Interestingly, drawer handle is the tuning eye escutcheon from a 1930s radio. Clever.

Found a camera I've been looking for for greater than 10 years. It's in bad shape but it wasn't $2,000+ - which is all I've ever seen them sell for. Kodak Petite Lightning - 1929-1933. They came in blue (rare), green (very rare), and purple (1 or 2 exist)
