New Silver Stacker here, this is the state of my “Stack” if you can even call it that.. Mostly “Junk grade coin silver” but certainly a fair bit of it. There is probably some numismatic value on top of the silver value for most of it. Sorry for the shoddy imageJan 2021 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/Silverbugs
“Woodcraft” came to me from my grandpa who got it from his uncle. Anyone love old Knives?Apr 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/knives

Finally decided to go through some of my moulding plane collection to sell. If anyone’s after specific types or manufactures let me know. I believe these range from around the late 1700s - late 1900sFeb 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/handtools ⋅ #1900 #1700
Got these carving chisels recently but they have some heavy rust and pitting in bad places. Should I just attempt to sand/grind it out of the edges(carefully obviously) or try one of those liquid rust removers and then just sharpen as normal?Jan 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/HandToolRescue ⋅ #carefully-obviously
Unknown sharpening stone, fairly certain it’s natural. Does not let any light into it, It feels coarse to the finger, cuts fast but leaves a fairly fine edge. Would love to know if anyone knows exactly what type of stone it is. (Its a beige sand sort of colour) Thanks!Jan 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/sharpening ⋅ #Its-a-beige-sand-sort-of-colour

Finally got myself a real contender of an air gun Weihrhauch HW57 reduced to £230 since it was the shops last one and the display one. Probably just use it for some mid ranged plinking and the odd rat and squirrel.Feb 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/airguns
Is this yellow on my new diamond stones rust? If it is how can I prevent it as I presumably don’t want to clog the diamond stone with oil. ThanksApr 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/sharpening

First shooting with my new HW57. Aiming dead centre stood up the best I could with the wind (the group not circled in black) after the 11 shots my scope mounts had completely unscrewed.. think I need to invest in some higher quality mounts.Feb 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/airguns ⋅ #the-group-not-circled-in-black

An early No7 plane given to me a little while ago that has a replacement very roughly brass cast frog it doesn’t appear to cause me too many issues using it, should I be looking out for a replacement frog of this era or just live with it and call it “Character”. Your thoughts? ThanksJan 2020 ⋅ toolsandstuff01 ⋅ r/handtools
