Made myself a patchwork Guardian cushion from corduroy fabric scraps, and thought I'd show it off :)5yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/Minecraft
Harvested the first pot full of spuds this year, and cleaned up the garlic I dug up a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad amount for only a smallish pot, and the garlic was just planted in the borders along with the flowers etc (kept the neighbour's cats from shitting in there too), so I'm happy :)10mo ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Rescued this floofy little madam from the lane home from my (7yo) granddaughter's school. She was fascinated to see one so close up, but not quite brave enough to let her crawl onto her hand too. Once she'd warmed up a bit we put her on some nettles to get a drink :)2yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Finally got a pic of my shouty overlord. He does a good line in telling off if I'm not filling the feeders whenever he deems necessary.3yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
I know this involves the S word, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed these little (roughly week old) cygnets are cute enough to make the grade :)3yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
My *finally* finished jumper! (Deets for the knitters in the comments :))3yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Can your shittest wildlife photo beat this? Red Kite and a crow, circling in the sky above my house. Phone was at max zoom 🤣1yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Pulled my very first pot of potatoes ever just now, and am feeling really proud of myself. Not a bad crop for a small pot, and in homemade compost, from just two old spuds which were destined for the compost bin :D 1L watering can for scale as we have no bananas ;)4yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
One of these is not like the others....... (only bought these today, and didn't notice the special one till I got them home :D )6mo ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/Lithops
Surprise present for my mum. Bit late for Mothers' Day, but in time for Easter :) My first attempt at a Fisherman's Rib leaf pattern scarf.6yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/knitting
Spotted this big fella on the garden path after a sudden biblical downpour. Even after shoving a phone nearly in his face, precisely zero fucks were given. Think it's his garden now...4yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Bud or bum, you decide! (if it *is* a bud, I'll be beyond excited as it'll be the first time ever, but I'm not holding my breath)7mo ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/Lithops
It refuses to plump its leaves up, but will happily chuck out two flower stems lol3mo ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/haworthia
Such a cute little floof! (S)He stopped in the garden just long enough for me to get a couple of pics before hovering off on his slurpy way :)3yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Little corner in the garden. Had some rusted old weights knocking about getting in the way, so repurposed as a feature. What little oddities do you lot have in your gardens?4yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
I'd never seen one of these before today, in the garden, or anywhere. Hornet mimic hoverfly, apparently the largest hoverfly in the UK.2yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/CasualUK
Anyone know what Sedum this is? Was given it by my mum but she didn't know what it was.4yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/Sempervivum
Apologies for the potato quality pic, but my Frithia pulchra appears to be doing a thing!5yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/succulents
Got these little cuties from the local market today, and have a couple of questions :)6yr ⋅ Zebra_Sewist ⋅ r/succulents
