During WW1 a Belgian soldier was on a scouting mission when coins in his breast pocket began jingling and he was shot by a German soldier who heard them. Ironically, the coins that got him shot are the same ones that saved his life. The experience was recorded in a journal and found by his grandson.
Betty Davis was an American singer-songwriter and funk diva who arrived on the 70s scene to break boundaries for women with her daring personality, iconic fashion and outrageous funk music. Despite being banned and boycotted she became the first black woman to perform, write and manage herself (RIP)
Jimmy Carter is a champion of human rights, justice, and renewable energy (even installing solar panels at the Whitehouse until Reagan removed them).
