The bottom of this cabinet door is 5'4 from the finished floor. When the door is unintentionally left open, my wife and I hit it with our heads. ough :) Question: Is there a way to convert this left/right opening cabinet door to an up/down opening door? Thanks!

After emtying the trash can I accidentally slammed the bottom of the trash can on the corner of the bathroom vanity top and cracked it (doh!) The corner that broke off is in 20 tiny pieces. I have no idea what kind of stone this is. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
