If they ever do another director retrospective (a la John Carpenter), they have to institute a rule that they don't discuss a film until both parties have mentioned it, that way the person who's more excited about the film leads the discussion about it, and you avoid another embarrassment like this:
This is Aldo Ray (b. Aldo Da Rae), star of such films as BOG, BIOHAZARD, HOLLYWOOD COP, SHOCK 'EM DEAD, and THE GREAT SKYCOPTER RESCUE. I'M BAAAAAAAAAAACK! After 30 days in the hole (or 28; who's counting?). I've got 3 questions for you: 1. What was the first Bond movie you saw in general (tape, TV, etc.)? 2. First one you saw theatrically? 3. First one you saw theatrically with your own money? Some answers may overlap; that's okay.
I went to a Christmas Horror double feature in Philly a couple weeks ago. Film #1 was DON'T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS, which hurt my brain for a few reasons, but mostly because EVERY character is a CREEP except for the Meryl Streep-looking girl from SLAUGHTER HIGH, who plays a very down-to-earth stripper.
HMS Ark Royal (R09) and HMS Ark Royal (R07) were Royal Navy aircraft carriers that served from 1950-1979 and 1981-2011, respectively. Given his rank and the type of the ships, it seems likely that Movie Bond (as opposed to Book Bond) would've been an aviator, which would explain his flight training.
