This 10 gal is my first tank, started it a week and a half ago and put my 2 zebra danio in there 4 days ago. I’m planning on getting 3 celestial pearl danio but I was wondering how soon I can get them? A friend said I can get them 1 week after I put my zebras in there, is it right?2yr ⋅ andrews-wrld ⋅ r/nanotank
First tank, day 1. Dwarf hairgrass. A little nervous. Sand was finer than I anticipated and substrate possibly not deep enough in places. Hopefully they won’t suffocate, but I’m prepared to take out all the water and substrates and begin again with lessons learned.5yr ⋅ awaamen ⋅ r/nanotank
At the risk of public shaming, I could use some advice. I started my first nano tank about a week ago and JUST got the filter in, and everything is a bit of a mess. How do I cure the hot mess? Take it all out, clean everything and start over?4yr ⋅ g2870 ⋅ r/nanotank

PSA: for those in the US who are having trouble measuring doses for ferts and such: I found these for $2.99 at CVS. They’re 1 mL each and reusable. I’ll be using them to dose liquid CO2 (seachem Excel) in a 5 gallon without having to be paranoid about measuring capfuls! Carpet, here I come!4yr ⋅ poodlepunk0907 ⋅ r/nanotank
