Zone 4b here. Last winter, the deer feasted on these arborvitaes so much that I had to replace a few. I need to do something to protect them from deer this coming winter, but that’s a lot of trees to individually wrap with burlap. What can I do to keep these guys safe and make it through the winter?
Can a commercial grade ride-on mower plow right on through most of this? For context, it's in Central Florida, grading is reasonably flat underneath, and there are only some moderately thick twiggy weeds/shrubs. The larger tree weeds pictured I would of course take care of with a pole and chain saw.
