3 striking anvils drifted today. 12x5x2 a36 steel. Drilled a 7/8hole and then used a home made 4140 square drift to open them up. We were able to get them done in one heat. How good are these for a beginner blacksmith? Left one is 3 lbs right is 2.5. I think they have a hickory handle. Seem fairly good quality. Are they good weight and shape.
