Wanted to know if this method of powering a raspberry pi would work, I want to power a raspberry pi (and other electronics but i know those work) using an 11.1V lipo battery, stepped down to 9V and then 5V, that will power a female usb connector, then i will use a usb cable to power the raspberry pi

UPDATE: I want to power a raspberry pi with a 3s lipo battery, by designing a pcb to step down the voltage to 5V. I wanted to know if this is going to work or if there is a more efficient way, (details in the image)
