Realistic Professor Farnsworth mask

Having a new issue with Retroarch all of a sudden, after setting cores for everything. After running for 3 or 4 seconss, it crashes to this screen. Any ideas what could be causing this issue? Thanks in advance.

Left eye side finally died. I am pretty much a beginner for soldering, can someone tell me what the level of difficulty is in repairing this? Went to a repair shop a while back when it wasn't this bad and they refused to touch it because they didn't want to mess up history. Thank you in advance.
