Finished Psychonauts 2. It should absolutely have the best Art Direction at TGA. It is my personal GOTY. The writing is weirdly funny. Tim Schaffer is an auteur with the likes of Kojima and Miyazaki. More and more folks should try it out. Also recommend playing the first game.

I just finished Prey and I am blown away. It's like Bioshock in space. It has neo-modern aesthetics. The CRYENGINE still holds and the UI in the computers are interactive. It has multiple solutions to every problem. I got goosebumps with the ending. It's like Nolan and M.Night wrote it. Please try.

I just finished RE7. I never thought I would enjoy the survival horror genre so much. Last I played was RE4. Capcom has nailed the atmosphere in the game. Heavily inspired by P.T. The tension buildup in the game is so intense when I don't have any meds or ammo and need to reach the safehouse.

I just finished Resident Evil with Jill. Last I played was RE7. I have to admit I enjoyed it far more than I expected. This is survival horror in this purest form. The audio design is so eerie at times. The prerendered background makes it so modern looking. Did players loved it back in the GCN days?

Last year I decided to get into the soul genre. With the help of FightinCowboy I was able to finish some of the best games of this era. I know using walkthroughs are not fare and I respect blind playthrough. I have pre-ordered Elden Ring and I am genuinely hyped af.

It's not easy to reboot an old franchise. I think this deserves some genuine praise. It's pretty much the Sonic Mania treatment for Battletoads. The art style has been refreshed so even younger audience can get in to it. The cartoon style look easily blends with the cutscenes vs. 8 bit style.

Finished Silent Hill 2 HD. Sound design will send chills down your spine. I played it at night with the headphones and got really spooked. I have played REmake, 4,5,7, TEW1-2. I just finished Pentiment. I haven't read any books since last year. This game has made me realise that Visual Novels are better than books. It's so immersive. I usually skip dialogues in games but I read every single conversation in Pentiment. Learnt a good deal of real/fictional history.

I just finished Psychonauts. Fun platformer with engaging story and variety of gameplay. I would highly suggest everyone to play it as the sequel could be coming in the summer. Psychonauts is coming to Game Pass in this week. I hope they release a remastered version with 16:9 aspect ratio.

I just finished Trek To Yomi and I think anyone who likes Limbo and Inside should try it. It's more of the Sekiro than the Ghost of Tsushima. It pays homage to the Kurosawa movies and I am impressed what the devs were able to create in Unity. Combat could have been better and rolling needs iframes.
