So satisfying to finish a project that started out so complicated, and frustrating to understand 🤣 A second one is going to be soooo much easier! 🐚 They’re going to be homes for air plants 🌱😍2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Sharing the love for C2C JAYGO. Super happy with the progress thus far.... erm, what started out as a lap blanket turned into a full queen 🤣 Just have a mid grey simple double crochet border to do to finish it off. Such a fantastic pattern to work with... more details in comments 🤗3yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet

My first ever full sized blanket... over 222 hours worth of work, made for a friend’s birthday. Thanks to this amazing sub for being so inspiring and supportive ❤️🧡💛💚💙5yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet

Whipped up this cutie for Easter! Carrot does stand up, just looks a little stretched due to bunny being done in a slightly thicker yarn (and therefore bigger). Pattern in comments!3yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
...and I’m done for the evening it seems 🤪 New kitten 😻 Old cat never even cared when I crocheted, but now I get what all of you were talking about, she unraveled two blanket rows today when she was out of my sight for two seconds 😂 Good thing she’s adorable!4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
...and they're DONE!! 80+ crocheted Christmas stockings! 🥰 Am SOOOOO happy with how they came out (and am also glad to not have to work on them anymore LOL). Thanks to all of you for your help and motivation through the process. As promised, more info and relevant links in the comments!2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet

As a pin collector I wanted a way of taking my pins out with me, yet also protect them and reduce the risk of falling off and being lost. Scouring the internet I came across AllAboutAmi’s post and used it as my inspiration to free form a lining for a clear tote bag I got from Daiso! Super happy 😃4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
JAYGO C2C Almost finished, just have the order to do!! What started out as a lap blanket ended up as a full sized queen 🤣 Really love how it’s worked up and also how relatively easy and quick it is to do. Details in comments 😊3yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
JAYGO c2c patchwork blanket. Finally gifted, so was able to take a pic of the final product. Super happy with how the simple DC/SC border finished it off 😊2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
This time last year when I joined Reddit & this amazing sub, I could barely crochet a chain & now - partly thanks to all your inspiration & guidance - I’m able to make gifts, like this one just finished, for dear friends. Thanks so much (cat & 15cm Pika for scale - just under 2 metres sq) x4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
How awesome is this keyhole technique? Super snuggly to keep the neck warm but without the bulk of doubling a normal scarf up! Pattern and more details in comments 😊2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
Just discovered...crochet edged fleece blankets! Made in a fraction of the time (this DB sized one took a few hours max) and so economical but still really gorgeous with handmade flair! Such a great quick gift idea!4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Tee hee! So true.... you all post some amazingly inspirational pieces that make me immediately start my own version 🤣 Five W.I.Ps here and counting.... what about everyone else?3yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Freehanded a potion bottle dice container for hubby for his birthday. It’s sturdy enough to even use as a rolling cup I think ☺️ Have shared the basics of what I did in the comments below if anyone is interested 🧶 🎲4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
Am in need of consultation with the wonderful brains’ trust on this sub please 😊 Am making 80+ (yes, 80 - I’m mad I know 😜) of these stockings for friends and family for Christmas and I need some advice (more details in comments) 🙏🏻2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
HOTH 😬 Top left is a lovey I made months ago for a Mickey obsessed friend who announced she was pregnant. Just finished a matching pram blanket and baby rattle! Super happy with how they came out. Taking a breath and then on to a Mickey ears beanie ☺️ ♥️ the ability to make personalized gifts! 🧶4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Just finished this LEGO brick scarf 🧣 for a AFOL ☺️ A few tension issues due to slight differences in yarn ply but am pretty happy with the result! Love being able to make personalised gifts 🎁 for loved ones!4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochetpatterns
I’ve never posted one of these before! But my long awaited order has arrived!!! See that small ball of yarn top right? I needed that to finish a project but somehow got over excited with Spotlight having 50% off yarn!🙊 Thankgoodness for online ordering and delivery during lockdown!!2yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Excuse the yarn barf 🙄 but this is just a reminder to all you wonderful people that it’s so worth trying something new and going outside your comfort zone. Always wanted to try C2C but was so intimated. Took a leap and 😱 just amazing, a lot easier and quicker than I thought! This is 2 hours in ☺️4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
🤔 Soooo... even though there wasn’t enough yarn to do one more lot of blanket ripples, there was enough for all this 😱. Stack baskets, plant pot cover, coasters/doilies galore. Currently working on a granny square cushion cover. 😂 Has been so nice to work on stuff that I can finish in a sitting!5yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet

Not saying it’s fool proof, but here’s my way of trying to win at yarn chicken 🧶 🐓 ... weighing before and after to see if there’s enough left for one more colour band 🌈☺️ (My very first blanket! Pattern = simple ripple stitch by Blossom Crochet on You Tube)5yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
The top left 🌵 outfit is the first thing I ever freehanded. Since then, as a running joke gift for a friend, I have made it many more outfits - needing to make a ‘cactus mannequin’ in the process 🤣 Luau, Winter, Birthday, Easter, Royalty and Witch. Any more suggestions please wonderful people? 🤗4yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
Help please! I'm giving freehanding a go and I'm coming a bit unstuck with it either not having a straight edge or not lying flat. Could I please have some advice from you amazing people? More details in comments! Thank you!3yr ⋅ ShoeBillStorkyPants ⋅ r/crochet
