Delayered ATmega328p silicon die. The hydrofluoric acid removed the 1st and 2nd’ish layers. Took around 2 hours of sitting in a 5mL centrifuge. Can start to make out the individual bits / transistors.4yr ⋅ Ryancor ⋅ r/arduino

Need help identifying this component of the ATmega silicon die I delayered! Have a hunch that it might be the IO registers since there are 32 8bit registers in this chip. Any thoughts?4yr ⋅ Ryancor ⋅ r/AskElectronics

Found something unexpected when delayering the CH340 USB-to-UART interface chip. There is a whole section of ROM constants. This was etched in HF solution for about 2 hours to get to the active transistor layer.4yr ⋅ Ryancor ⋅ r/ReSilicon
