When an Area is darker, does that mean you’re more likely from there. If so, why is Mexico and Peru so much darker than Guatemala but on Ancestry it says I’m mostly Guatemalan

I was expecting the Peruvian to be a higher percentage based on 23andMe saying Peru was highly likely just like Guatemala.
What does it mean by community rather than ethnicity?
Like Peru, I was expecting Indigenous to Mexico to be higher because it also said highly likely on 23andMe.
