Picked up this beauty at a local online auction. Saw it. Wanted it. Fought for it. Got it. Love it.1yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/Mid_Century
Kitchen island. What I (50, F) tore out (builder-grade garbage) vs what I built to replace it. My favorite build to date. 9-1/2 feet long. $600 all in (legs were $65 each). 🧰💪🏼❤️ #DIYGirlPower4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/somethingimade
Pulled out of a trash heap. It was one part of a military file cabinet. Thorough cleaning, paint and a little shining up followed by wrapping it in wood from my scrap pile. Added some legs and bingo bango! 🧰🧽❤️4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/upcycling
I’m going to look freaking spectacular at the company Christmas party this year. 🎄🎄🎄4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/ThriftStoreHauls
Took me (51F) 48 effing hours to build my first drawer ever. Setting up the miter lock router bit was.... not fun. Nearly quit a few times. But I finally got it. Looking forward to getting the rest of my lower kitchen cabinets purged and organized with these installed.3yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/woodworking
My sister’s home burned to the ground in the Paradise fire. (They’re in a new home and doing well now.) Her carefully curated massive collection of Disney pins was destroyed. Challenge accepted. Found these at Savers this week. Two of them, she had never seen before! 😁👍🏼 🏆4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/ThriftStoreHauls
I hated our nasty builder-grade beige tiles. I love the look of patterned tile but not the price. Spent just over $100 on some paint and a stencil. Voila! Two years later and not a single chip! Primer, base coat, stencil and 4 coats of sealer. Removed the painter’s tape after last pic. Oops. 😏4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/Diwives
Kitchen reno so far. I did everything but the new granite install. Still have a few more things to do but we’re getting close to the finish line. It’s been un-Christmased now too. 😁🧰💪🏼🔨 #GirlPower4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/Diwives
Empty unused corner of our large pantry turned into a useful mudroom. My first major project. 75% of the time building. 25% fixing what I just screwed up. Holding up great after 2 years of heavy use. 🥾🧣🎒🌂🧥4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/somethingimade
This was my first major “let’s see if I can do it” build. We had an unused corner of our pantry. I was tired of coats and shoes all over the house. Put in a mudroom and it has corralled the mess nicely. 👍🏼4yr ⋅ PigwidgeonWeasley ⋅ r/Diwives
