My wife got me some upgrades after I signed a contract securing a job upon completion of my course. Another few months to go. It’s such a pleasure drafting with these tools.4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
This pencil is a joy to use. My only issue with it is that the lead indicator only goes down to B. 😑 I’m using 2B4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
I nearly always opt for 0.3 or 0.5. But I recently got this 0.7 and disliked the thicker lead immediately. Wrote with it a few times but still preferred thinner leads. However I tried it on the go rather than sitting down. All of a sudden 0.7 makes sense to me in this environment.4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
Heading back into college in a few days. Finishing up some diagrams. Pentel is only used for small detail work. I have to say that the rOtring is by far my favorite pencil. I will try and get the 0.35 version at some stage. The grip on the Pentel hurts my fingers after a while.4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
Last week on my course. Last wiring diagram I need to hand up. I’ve grown to really like this pencil. The protected sleeve and automatic lead advancement really speed up the drafting process. Still not impressed with the grip though.4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
Still trying to come to terms with the grip on the Nero. But having the option to write with a sharp line and an automatic lead advancement system makes cursive writing fun.4yr ⋅ NegatronDave ⋅ r/mechanicalpencils
