I have been obsessing about snakes lately. My birthday is next month and my family got together and bought me this GORGEOUS Rhino Rat Snake. What an amazing species. I can’t get over how beautiful she is.4yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/snakes
When a USPS employee steals your custom knife, and you want to use one of your other countless knives to slice up the man who created this fookin “we care” bag.......6yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knives
Meet my new Egyptian False Cobra. He’s very handsome and he likes to give hugs, dunk his head in water repeatedly while working on an escape, and shovel substrate around with his head and fat neck. Super cool and sweet snake, but there’s not a ton of information out about them, unfortunately.4yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/snakes
My dad found an old bin of obsidian flakes at an antique store in town. Bought all of it for $10. Once I got it I immediately started working on it, and had no idea it was green obsidian until I happed to hold a near-finished arrowhead up in the sunlight. Green obsidian is rare! My lucky day!5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knapping
Daily practice until I run out of obsidian👍🏻. Notching is tough for me.5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knapping

My first spear point. Super happy with it. I have broken every spear point I attempted up until this one, though I have only been knapping a couple weeks now. Excited to keep progressing👍🏻.5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knapping
Does anyone have any info on this custom puukko I found while antique shopping? I am unfamiliar with the makers mark on the blade/sheath. (Couldn’t get a good photo of mark on blade but it’s the same mark as the sheath in the picture.) Any help is appreciated! Thanks!5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knives
This is exactly how close I got to making a decent “embedded point” before breaking it. 😡😡😡 was coming along so well. smh Putting down the tools for the day.5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/knapping
I bought some knapping tools after lacking the motivation to improve the ones I had made in my first attempt at learning the craft. It made all the difference. This is my first arrowhead. Not perfect of course but I am proud of it.5yr ⋅ MasonWindu4 ⋅ r/Flintknapping
