Line art
Rough sketch
I first designed them while painting the Guardians from the old combat patrol box
Yaliez' armor is beaten and damaged because he always charges into the heaviest battle
Lothlyn was designed as someone who'd take more of a back-field role so he could avoid violence as much as possible

Emo/scene Supergirl is a direct result of Lois' influence!
Skodfri is a lot smaller than he would have been due to malnourishment since infancy in his Apokaliptian dungeon cell
A first draft concept of 'my' Krypton. This would be formal wear, not their everyday attire.
Initial Supergirl design sketches
Superman vs. Darkseid in their first confrontation on Earth
Darkseid
Concept sketches for Darkseid, Steppenwulf, and Kalibak
Ma Kent is such a '90s mom. Anybody who grew up in the early '90s will get it!

In this era, Diana is certainly stronger, faster, and tougher than normal humans, but most of her 'powers' come from armor & artifacts she wears
'My' JSA have a classic mystery men aesthetic, costumes based on functional clothes with a hero twist. Superhero fashion hasn't formalized yet and won't until the Modern Age.
Redrawn from a Wonder Woman origin sequence by Adam Hughes
Redrawn from Steve meeting Diana by Yannick Paquette - the art was the only good thing in WW: Earth One lol
The bracers create a repelling field rather than her swinging her arms around to physically deflect bullets. I just... like this better. Sorry if I offend.
Diana seeks Hephaestus to craft her armor to defeat Ares. She makes the case for humanity, that the Gods owe the world their protection.
Diana and Steve. TBH wasn't a big fan of the pairing before I started this project. Working on them through their decades together made me like him a lot more.

Lex Luthor: Billionaire tech genius and Superman's biggest threat from day 1
Metallo: Hard to make him not the Terminator, so I just said f'k it and leaned in. When he's built, they don't yet realize Kryptonite is Superman's weakness!
Bruno Mannheim: Head of the Intergang crime family. My early-era Superman deals with organized crime a lot. Even Mannheim doesn't know Darkseid is Intergang's biggest benefactor
Brainiac: My version wouldn't use a body most of the time. He controls a fleet of starships and robot troops to invade Earth. Fighting him is what forms the first Justice League
Parasite: The more power he absorbs, the bigger he gets, his human body stretching and tearing as his musculature outgrows his humanity
Silver Banshee: Leaned into her being a person possessed by an ancient, furious spirit. She's very ghostly and spectral. She's also how Superman learns of his magical vulnerability
Bizarro: A failed attempt by Luthor to clone Superman. Cellular degradation leads to madness and violence. After facing Superman, he spraypaints the S on himself in the mirror
