Elizabeth Gurley Flynn in 1920. She was a labor activist, founding member of the ACLU, a leader in the IWW, and a chairperson of the Communist Party USA. She also happened to live with a 'friend' who was an out lesbian for 10 years. Flynn also wrote about lesbianism among female political prisoners.
