I'm not sure if this is the right sub to ask. Someone just cut this from their tree and threw it away, is there a way I can plant this and hopefully keep growing it?

This year I found and collected miniature logos from random items. Any ideas what I can collect next year? I thought of mini QR codes but maybe there's more interesting stuff :)
