For my mother's 80th birthday. This is made from Pacific quilted maple and chakte viga woods. The interior is lined in jeweler's flock with removable ring and bracelet trays. I scalloped the front to follow the form of the live edge. It closes magnetically.5yr ⋅ GeekyWoodworker ⋅ r/woodworking

Sometimes we get humbled. The family of a Star Wars fan asked that we build a box urn for their son who just passed. I don't think we've ever taken more care in providing someone what was asked for. It's still in progress. Some things knock the wind out of you.6yr ⋅ GeekyWoodworker ⋅ r/EmpireDidNothingWrong

A call out for some advise, please. I'm working on a keepsake box. Ive joined 2 pieces of canary wood for the lid. Wood was dry and I live in the Sonoran Desert so no wild humidity swings, yet I have a warp (up and away from the body of the box) which has developed. Any suggestions on a fix?
