Trying to compost some pine needle. I filled this about 1/3 with chopped up pine needles. I poured 2.5 gal of urine on them. I plan on turning it at some point. This is an experiment. Hopefully I will have something interesting in the spring.2yr ⋅ DungBeetle1983 ⋅ r/composting

I got a huge Chipdrop. It was mostly pine with a ton of needles. There were a lot of green ones so the pile was heating up pretty hot before I got to move them. I am wondering if pine needles will affect the compost negatively once they are decomposed?2yr ⋅ DungBeetle1983 ⋅ r/composting

The one on the right is my second attempt. It came out slightly better. I will say this, I get to the point just before I put the graphite on and it doesn't look like there are any imperfections and put it on and it shows you every tiny bump and scratch in the ball.5yr ⋅ DungBeetle1983 ⋅ r/Dorodango
