Winter solstice camping. Took my son on a short backpacking trip in Franklin, PA. Put up our back packing tent in a shelter due to rain and ice. I know it’s a little taboo but I was worried about the weather and didn’t want him to have a bad time. He loved it!

First time ice fishing. Didn’t catch any fish, but had a good time! I’ll give it another go here soon.

What kind of rod is this? I’m new to ice fishing and was given a shanty, sled, auger, tip-ups, and two of these rods. Not 100% sure what kind they are. I was assuming they would be a typical ice rod and reel combo, but no reel. Any information would be appreciated. I want to give it a try.
