Jake's head must have exploded when he saw Neytiri wearing Varang cosplay and using a human weapon (grenade) to rescue him.Aug 5 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/Avatar ⋅ #grenade
I love how animalistic the Forest Na'vi are in the first film, moving like panthers and hissing like cats. Silently stalking the forests with their feathered bows. There is something Wood Elf/ Night Elf about them too which I love. I felt like some of that was lost in the 2nd film.Jul 24 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/Avatar

It's easy to forget that for much of England's history large areas of the East were wetlands. Were there any people that lived in those areas, considering the East was historically where the majority of the English population lived?Nov 2025 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/anglosaxon
It was love at first sight for Jake but what about Neytiri? Do you think she thought this stupid, incompetent Avatar is annoyingly good looking or was it a slow realisation that she liked him?Jul 29 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/Avatar

Map of the Greater Manchester built-up area. You can see which areas have fully merged with each other and which haven't (yet). It's interesting that some places outside of Greater Manchester like Poynton (Cheshire) and Glossop (Derbyshire) are part of the conurbation but Wigan isn't.Dec 2025 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/manchester ⋅ #Derbyshire #Cheshire #yet

The War of the Roses was actually a war of Southern nobles, but their meddling has caused friction to this day in the North. In reality people from places like Burnley and Keighley have FAR more in common than Keighley and Goole, or Burnley and Ormskirk. Lines on a map mean nothing. End the divide.Feb 13 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/NorthernEngland

The circled area is a ONE HOUR drive away from any kind of upland/ moorland scenery (the gentle Wolds don't count) which is very unusual for the North! My brain can't comprehend such flatness. Do any of you live there? Can you verify what it's like?Jan 21 ⋅ Dragonfruit-18 ⋅ r/NorthernEngland

Why do you think Cheshire is considered a Northern county when it was always part of Mercia? Surely it makes sense that a county should have been part of Northumbria at some point in its history to be Northern.
