Any advice for buying a garden shed? I saw this in B and M, it's perfect size and I like the door setup and that there's no windows. Just wondering if there are better options for quality etc from online shed places, even if I'm paying slightly more?Jun 16 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/DIYUK

Everything I do in this b*****d house that involves drilling a hole in the wall turns into a nightmare.Oct 2025 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/DIYUK
This is what nofines concrete looks like. I removed part of a wall (not load baring), used a Stihl saw that you'd use to cut slabs etc. all the walls in my house are this stuff. External walls have EWI. It's extremely sturdy, just a PIA to put wall plugs in and it chews up drills.Apr 16 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/DIYUK ⋅ #not-load-baring
I was reading about the bumper midge hatch happening this year and it reminded me of the PPE my family used on this trip to the north west Highlands in July 1974.Jun 2023 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/Scotland

Why isn't there some sort of communal pipe for boiler overflows (or whatever that is) to go into? I see wall stains like this all over the place. These particular flats are only a few years old and those stains last forever.Apr 2024 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/DIYUK ⋅ #or-whatever-that-is
Getting overwhelmed with kefir after about a week. I can't drink it fast enough so I put it in the fridge to try and slow it down. How much do you drink each day, maybe I could drink more? Currently I'm drinking 500 ml a day.Aug 2022 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/Kefir

First attempt. Received grains wet in a sealed plastic bag. Added them to the jar with 250ml of whole pasteurised milk. After 48 hours at 22°C in the kitchen it was the same thickness as Kefir I bought from the supermarket.Aug 2022 ⋅ Citawell ⋅ r/Kefir
