So, how long did it take you to learn you can just destroy those damaged ship doors?

This is my dream island, but it's very hard to build. The whole base is connected, so the first foundation was extremely important! I haven't finished it yet. There are 2 trees at the middle of the base, but luckily my foundation circling around them perfectly to make stairs and balcony.
