Just got the xb8 modem looks much nicer now I can connect more devices. My old xb7 was huge pain in the ass.

My bluecurve was noisy and hot, so I disassembled it to deteremine the issue. Bluecurve without shroud.

The only vent is covered by a plastic plate that blocks exhaust. After removal of exterior and powered on it is quiet; who designed this thing?

Any news/idea on when we can get our hands on the new XB8 (Box on the right).

We are currently paying for the gig internet plan, but we decided to use a 3rd party router since the XB7s built in one is pretty junk. But testing speeds directly on the 3rd party router yields at most around 350MB/s. does anyone have any ideas on why this may be happening?
