Here’s my teak veneered arcade machine I built with a retro pie called the Atomic Arcade. I wanted it to match our 60s furniture in our mid century house so it’s a bit out of time.

Friend's birthday is this week, thought the Sega cartridge would add a nice touch.
So keen to fire this up. 1gb model.

There is something surreal about playing an arcade in a dark room, basking in the light of the machine. In the summer, you may have a window open and hear the calming chirp of insects and while a warm breeze buffets your face. It’s as if time stands still and you are once again a child.

Built my first arcade machine! It is running retropie on an ODroid Xu4. It runs Mame and FBalpha emulators with ease.

RetroPie built into a 1/4” raw steel countertop with mirrored sides. All holes, including the speaker grills, were laser cut. I’ve been playing it all day.

these cheap HDMI to AV converters work great on Pi Zero's for CRT RetroPies or if you can't or don't want to use your Pi3/4's AV out
