Here is my wooden cabinet build so far. I'm making a tabletop Retropie cabinet to run the Gameboy game I've been developing. I'm struggling with ideas for the bottom half but I'm currently thinking about including a laser cut map of the game built into the cabinet for players to reference.

I wanted to learn Fusion 360, so I decided to start by designing a Pi case based on my Phanteks Evolv case.

  • Sick of all these wimpy plastic Pi cases, so I built my own out of steel and brawn!
  • I also had to design a different bracket for the Ice Tower cooler to turn the fan in the proper direction.

  • Waterjet cut 1/16" steel and taped to test fit after bending.

  • Build includes 6 fans, 1 M.2 SSD, an Argon One case daughter board to move the I/O, and a 6A Mean Well PSU!
  • Rear I/O includes a soft reset switch.
  • OC'd the CPU to 2.1 and the temp never gets above 36 degrees Celsius!
