Free pickup from the weekend given to me as non working. Disc drive wasn't opening on the xbox and saw the belt is toast and a couple bad caps but I've already cleaned it out and modded it. Picking up caps and belt this week for a refresh. 1.6 that's gonna be a gift to a friend once completed

Just removed some clock capacitors, found the two boxes at the back in the tip, one chipped and one 1.6 hence there’s only 3 CC in the middle there, next up a solid cleaning!

Just joined. This is my Xbox. It is a v1.6 with X3CE modchip and 500GB IDE. I recently painted it white pearlescent and the cage blue. Added LEDs in the ports, and internalized a wireless network bridge/hotspot. I'm trying to figure out a way to externalize the psu and DVD drive.

1.6? I didn't know they made Halo SE consoles with a 1.6 board? Perhaps someone can shed some light on this? I took it apart this morning to clean it as it was absolutely filthy inside. Much to my surprise the board appears to be a 1.6. Xcalibur chip. Manufactured April 9th 2004.
