Started by gluing together a few different species of 3/4 solid stock hardwood.
Once glued up planed it flat.
Then re-sawed it in half.
And planed some more and used a drum sander to get down to just over 1/16”
Layered with some Baltic birch 1/8” plywood. Two straight grain and one cross grain.
My press
Glued with titebond poly glue. Or I’ve used titebond 3
Trace pattern and cut out on the bandsaw 1/8” from the line.
Belt sander to dial in the shape and a 1/4 round over along the edge
Drilled hardware holes and used a grinder to add wheel wells. Also first coat of finish on the bottoms.
Added top coat of finish with lucid grip
Ready for some trucks
