insanely overpriced juicer. wouldn’t this be easy to make one that applies the pressure via a small hydraulic pump? it’s like 2K for this auto operated one. it just applies 2 tons pressure to blended fruit.

I'm disabled and need to invent some adaptive device to open a headset wider in order to slip my head in. I am not strong enough to do it myself and unable to lift them over my head. Is this a good start?

Work-in-progress CAD model - I'm using a router as the spindle for now. I'm a tad worried about how far it'll stick out from the Z axis and how it'd affect rigidity.

  • Early positioning for the steel & y-axis, checking if it'll fit ok.
  • The leadscrew & linear rod contraptions I'll be using for each axis. Will probably have to create new end & bottom plates though.
