The foundations I started with and how it fits to the terrain
On the left is the factory laid out without space constraint, and on the right is the foundation layout (light squares represent diagonal space).

Diagonal foundations are made by overlapping 4m and 2m down corner ramps
Diagonal walls are done by placing a 45° pillar and using nudge to overlap walls. It's a nice balance of simple to make with decent look and side doors overlap perfectly!
