Is the Rings of Power's portrayal of Galadriel as an ambitious and adventurous warrior - probably as well as a wise leader and healer - really a deviation from the source material?1yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/lotr
The elven armour is inspired by Alan Lee's fantastic drawing of elves in the first age at the Battle of Unnumbered tears. My guess is that this is a depiction in the series of the War of Wrath.2yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/lotr
I made this to sum up some interesting source material quotes that give an interesting foundation for the Rings of Power's portrayal of Galadriel as an ambitious and adventurous warrior - probably as well as a wise leader and healer.1yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/LOTR_on_Prime

Say what you will about Rings of Power, but the Fall of Eregion, Siege of Rivendell, Sinking of Numenor, Taking of Minas Ithil, The Last Alliance – the Second Age offers plenty for MESBG. Now GW and Amazon has signed for a Warhammer series. Could the Second Age be next? [Pic for attention]3mo ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
Warriors of Arnor from Fornost in Arthedain - converted from Warriors of Minas Tirith and Numenoreans. Description in comments.3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
I made my own Shade to go along with my proxies for Dead Marsh specters. After all the Dead Marshes are far from Angmar, so some spirits with an icy theme seem more apropriate.3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
The plastic Fellowship has some bad sculpts. For example Aragorn has a really flat hair that looks more like a hood. Therefore I sculpted a rougher hair with green stuff. And I think it really lifted the whole miniature so he looks a lot better. What do you think?3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
The new Noble Elves Kingsguard from Unreleased miniatures are so crisp. Can't wait to paint them! Here is a comparison to the old ones.3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
Test for new colour scheme for my Rivendell elves. I wanted to have the green tinted armour from The Last Alliance instead of the one we see in the Hobbit, while still showing autumn colours in the robes.3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
Is it a terrain piece? Is it a diorama? No... it's kinda both! - Seems like some adventurous dwarves and a troll all met their faits in the woods.4yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
After all these years in a box, finally I am free. - Haldir, the Two Towers. Great starting 2020 by finishing a 2019-project.4yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
Grey bone - A converted warg rider captain, named after an old Norwegian slang word for wolf. Hope you like the little details I added, such as the executioner sword on the back of the warg. I imagine he uses it to keep his riders in line.4yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
Heads up High elf/Noldor/Rivendell lovers: Davale Miniatures just launched their Kickstarter for their High Elven Army. For those of us who wait for GW to update their very old Last Alliance elves, these are a great alternative. Snagged a size comparison picture from Davale Miniatures' instagram.4yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures

Games Workshop said there would be news for Middle-earth soon. Could we have something at this event? From the schedule it does not look like there will be any announcements, but maybe something would be connected to this anyway? What do you guys think?11mo ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures

It is some time since we heard any big news on Warhammer Community. With Games Workshop teasing new easterlings and speculation around an expansion about the War of the Ring in the northern Middle-Earth, do you think this will be the next big addition and when do you think we will get any big news?3yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/MiddleEarthMiniatures
How on Coruscant did he get his hood down? I previewed the Revan's chest and mask and the hood was up.12yr ⋅ woodbear ⋅ r/swtor
