I've been trying to hold her for the past 3? days and she finally came out of her bed to eat and drink then sleep again. I normally get her to be held and then play with her outside of her cage, but lately I haven't been able to and it's making me sad :( I just want to love her and have her have fun

I did all I could for you. I love you. You had such a personality and were very stubborn and playful. Have fun on the rainbow bridge my sweet boy Luna. You were dokng great and the vet loved seeing you, said you were such a cutie. He went in his sleep.

Hamster won’t stop climbing to the highest point and chewing on the wire on top of the lid. She has plenty of space, toys and chews. Is there something I can do to prevent this, or at least cover the area somehow so she can’t chew it?

Here's Luna, I got her almost a week ago. She's a Russian dwarf hamster. I am a new hamster owner. My girlfriend had the cage and some other things, and I had her make the little bed she comes out of. Her favorite treats are dried bananas! She's the cutest and likes being held and exercising

Here's my current set up. I FINALLY got a tank! I'm hoping to add more hanging things with suction cups, and some bigger pools. I also need to put in my heating pad and some more shells. These two LOVE moss so that's where they mostly are. For now I have a small hut made out of cardboard.

From cage to bin, until I get home from vacation to set up a terrarium. Learning as I go. Anything will help! Going to get play sand instead of calcium sand, and will have a heating pad to keep the temperature up. But for now this is what I have because I'm still on vacation
