question about gauge squares. I'm just confused. it says: 4x4 = 22sts and 18 row in hdc.F hook. here I've done 22 stitches and 12 rows of hdc with an E hook, and it's 5 inches by 4 inches. if I did 18 rows like it says, it would probably be about 5 inches by 6 inches. do I crochet really loosely
