So what do we think is more likely: that this is a not-so-subtle Pride flag or a My Little Pony reference?4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Sigmarxism
Sergeant Ripper Jackson, converted to represent an Afriel Strain soldier, one of the many strange entries in the Guard's operational history.3yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Saved from a skip. My step-dad's Smurfs from ~30 years ago, refurbished by me. This was a lot of work, but I think it was worth it.3yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Commander for my Imperial Guard. Servo-skulls are cute and should be the Imperial equivalent of Nurglings or Gretchin.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Having a go at taking some cinematics using my recent terrain projects.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Interesting to find a Quiet Room at Crewe station, with low lighting, a cool colour scheme and no noise. Proud to be in a country that does this.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/autism
Quick and dirty Chimera for the Legion. There are three of these but they all look lite ally identical, so it's hardly worth trying to post them all.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Missile Launcher teams for my Guard. The launcher carriages were made by press-molding the chassis of the tracked servo-skull from Space Hulk.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
The 42nd Fallaxian Household man an emplacement while their support weapons prepare to withdraw. During the final months of fighting in Nalwhand, backfield elements were under serious and increasing threat from Greenskin infiltrators, stretching the overtaxed light companies still further.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Decided to make a more battle-ready Commissar. They can't all be wearing dress uniforms.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Well they might be okay, but their readings of some female protagonists leave a lot to be desired3yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/AreTheStraightsOK
Rare shot of models FINISHED on Christmas Day, not that I object to the sharing of gift-hauls and new collectors. Hope this inspires people to get painting.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k

My finished Guard at 1000pts. Looks a bit like the army I had back in 3rd Edition, only they're painted a lot better. Now time for a couple of little 'palate cleansers' before I try another big project.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Basilisk for my Steel Legion. This was a bit of a nightmare to build, mostly because it's an older Forge World model, but I'm pretty happy with it.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Fully refurbished my step-dad's Smurfs from 2nd Edition. Definitely worth the work.3yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/oldhammer

First of the Heavy Bolter teams for my Guard. These will be integrated into the infantry squads, so they'll all be posed to match their friends. Conversions were tricky, but these definitely look more like light infantry. I have something special planned for the support unit.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Test model for a small detachment of Marines Errant I plan to build to accompany my Guard. My yellow and white paints both went rather gloopy when I was doing the freehand, so I'll replace those for the rest.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Blob of Tactical Marines for my Loyalist Sons of Horus army. They only existed for a week or so on Istvaan III, but someone needs to represent them.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer30k

Rogue Trader Household troops. Can serve as an IG Command Squad and Officer or the 'Elucidian Starstriders' (tm) in their own right. Yes, they're meant to have a dog. Yes, I'm painting him today.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k

My take on one of the more popular Stormcasts. Happy with the finish on the armour, but I wouldn't want to do it on a whole army.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Morghast bodyguard for Neferata. Much prefer these fellows on foot.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Last Sentinel. I'm sure you all get bored of seeing them, but I don't get bored of painting them. Literally one more model to paint before the army's done.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k

Finished building this one literally the day before LoN landed. The Infernal Standard might not exist any more, but I like to think of this as a very elaborate Ossific Diadem.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Racket Lawn-chair teams. Self propelled launchers made by press-molding the chassis from the tracked servo-skull from Space Hulk.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Posted a shot of some homebrew Skellies a while ago. Now feeling confident enough to post the rest of the army.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
My Guard have been well-received elsewhere, so I thought I'd come and milk some more Karma out of this community. First it's my Commissar.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Was asked for a shot of the whole army. Here's 1000pts of Guard for 8th Ed. Dead chuffed with having finished these bois. Now time for a couple of little 'palate cleansers' before I try another big project.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
The goodest boy in the galaxy. As an aside, this model's testicles make me question things.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Archers of The Grey Company; a mercenary band originally from Ulgu, who have fought in actions in Gur and now seek plunder in Shyish. It doesn't go well for them.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
2nd Infantry Squad finished. Plan has actually changed a bit now and these units are going to get Heavy Bolters, but I'm now 2/3 of the way through my Infantry regardless. Hope to have the army at 1000pts by October.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
A little side-project of mine. These Catachans were fished out of a skip by my dad, refurbished by me and painted by Contrast. Thinking I'll turn them into a pioneer regiment.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
My take on the Sepulchral Guard. Modified a few characters so that they look more like a classic adventuring party (I'd like to use them for Warhammer Quest). Five models can also be used as Grave Guard, one as a Necromancer and one as a Wight King.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Skeleton Siege Corps(e), including 10 Crossbows, 5 Sappers with explosives and grappling lines and 5 Siege Mantlets. How would Reddit stat these?5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Manticore Missile System. Had this one sitting unpainted for about five years, which seems silly now that I know how nice it was to paint.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Love Sentinels. Under-utilised, much maligned, poor value-for-money, great models. Not sure the interior detail was strictly necessary, but I love it.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/TheAstraMilitarum
Neferata. Great fun to paint. Definitely my Warhammer Waifu. Who's yours?4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Sentinel for my Guard. I love these things, but they're very poor value-for-money. I treat them more as intensive painting and modelling projects.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Long time lurker, just got my first figure for Crimbo. Can't say my collection will be big because I have limited space and pretty particular interests. Current goal is a trio of Studio Series Seekers.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/transformers
My Battle Psyker. Model from Kromlech. She's slightly taller than the rest of my Guardsmen, but they're all stunted and malnourished, so it works.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer40k
Converted Skellywags with crossbows. Wonder what r/ageofsigmar thinks of homebrew units.6yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Big Skellyboi for my Legions of Nagash, based on the Reaper Giant Skeleton. This will count as a Corpse Cart.4yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
The other half of my Grey Company Mercs from last week. Not a lot of room in 500pts, so the army's BSB is just part of this unit. Count as Halberdiers with shields.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/ageofsigmar
Sons of Horus Apothecary. I was actually rather disappointed by this model; its propprtions are a bit weird and elongated, the cast quality was off so I had to do a lot of filling and tidying up, and the weird flexible resin they used for the pauldrons and sword makes is pretty fragile.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer30k
A few shots of my Contemptor. I know everyone's all giddy over the Leviathan, but I prefer this for its simplicity and versatility.5yr ⋅ Spiniest_of_Guys ⋅ r/Warhammer30k
