Any love for mid century industrial design? They just don’t make things with this level of style anymore. I found this at a thrift store recently.3yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/Mid_Century

Wanted to share this cool piece I picked up today. It’s signed Phyllis Mc (or Mo) Lewis, 1957. It reminds me of some of Hans Arp‘s compositions.3yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/Mid_Century
Anyone familiar with this piece? I’m thinking about buying it for $70.3yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/Mid_Century
What is this plastic thing? The tube is sealed to the base with a removable cap, and the little slidey bit locks into place via the brass screw.2yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/whatisthisthing
I picked up this great chair for $7 at a thrift store. Any information about it? I also found stuff under the cushions...3yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/Mid_Century
I purchased this dish at a thrift store, and haven’t been able to figure out its intended purpose. It doesn’t hold enough to make sense for chutney type things, the shape isn’t conducive for oil/vinegar, and a spoon doesn’t really fit in the channels for relish. It’s about 3/4” deep.4yr ⋅ schonleben ⋅ r/whatisthisthing
