My collection of DeLorean model cars, ranging in scale from 1:108 (just over 1.5” long) up to 1:8 (over 20” long). The large model was assembled by myself over a course of 3 years.1yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/CoolCollections
Something is brewing between Transformers and the Back to the Future IP. Anyone else excited for a transforming DeLorean?2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
Alternators. From when someone said “I bet you can’t make a Transformer with the detail of a model car” and Takara was like “hold my sake”2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
My trio of 1:8 model cars. The time traveling DeLorean, a Porsche 911 Carrera RS, and a Lamborghini Countach. All built by me over a period of 12 to 30 months. Dr Pepper for scale2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
Progress on my Eaglemoss/DeAgostini 1:8 scale DeLorean time machine. Current to week 113 of the build subscription2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
My ranger. My grandad bought it new in ‘88 and I bought it from him in ‘99. It took me to high school. Then to college. And now it takes me to work and my kids to their school. Best $1,500 I’ve ever spent.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/fordranger
Current WIP: 1:8 scale Eaglemoss DeLorean time machine. This is a partswork build I’ve been working on since July 2017. The time machine should be finished some time around April or May of next year.2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
My dad and I just completed a 920 mile journey in my 1988 Ranger. We left Concord NC Thursday afternoon, spending nights in Gallipolis OH and Valparaiso IN. We just landed in Madison WI a few hours ago. 217,000 miles now on the original motor and transmission. They gave us no issues whatsoever.2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/fordranger
I’ve put together a full collection of the Hot Wheels Tokyo 2020 Olympics cars. At first I was only interested in the two Toyotas, but the bug got me and here we are.1yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/HotWheels
I’ve been posting about Alternators here lately and this’ll be my last for while, as I know it’s a lesser popular line. Here’s my collection. All of the Alternators, Binaltech, Binaltech Asterisk, and Kiss Players.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
I posted a photo of my truck about a while ago, but here’s a better one. I also said I’d had it for 20 years. This month marks the actual anniversary of 20 years of ownership. 2.9 EFI V6, 5 speed manual, both original. A hair over 215,000 miles on it3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/fordranger
1:10 scale metal body Toyota 2000GT I finished earlier this year from DeAgostini3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
The size difference between MP-4 and MP-44. The former was scaled to store a Binaltech/Alternators figure in the trailer, which were 1/24 scale cars in alt-mode. I’m not sure why they decided to make a third OP, but the new figure is impressive.2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
Finished with issue 54 of my Eaglemoss 1:8 scale DeLorean Time Machine build. More photos later in the comments. A little frustrating but rewarding as well3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
Progress on my DeAgostini Porsche 911 Carrera RS. Links to more photos in the comments.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
My little display corner. Contains several Hot Wheels RLC cars, including five membership cars (left), and three 1:8 scale partwork model cars (all completed).2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/Diecast
I’ve owned my ‘88 for 21 years now, and the wiper motor lost the intermittent capability and the ability to return to start when switched off. If I turn the wipers off, they’ll stop wherever they happen to be on the windshield. Curious if this has happened to anyone else and what the remedy was.1yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/fordranger
Alternators versus Binaltech. These lines were available around 12 to 16 years ago, with Alternators available largely worldwide and Binaltech available in Japan and other small areas of Asia. 100% cars and trucks in this line, which is why Shockwave here is a Mazda RX-8 and not a gun.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
I recently finished building the DeAgostini 1:8 scale Porsche 911 Carrera RS. This is the largest in my collection so far and took a one year subscription of parts mailings to finish.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/Diecast
Here’s a shot of all of the parts and progress of my DeAgostini Lamborghini Countach. This is a parts work build current to month 20/24 of the build.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/Diecast

Anyone here for whom the Alternators line is a favorite (besides me)?3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/transformers
Does anyone here know of RC cars restrictions on NC or SC beaches? I’d be going early in the morning or later at night to avoid other people (and spread of Covid) anyway. But would like to know if anyone has met much resistance to crawling on a beach. Pic for attention.2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/rccars
Considering driving 1,000 miles in my ‘88. It’s well maintained (mechanically) but has 200,000+ miles and has a spotty reliability history. Just looking for advice. Would you drive this distance or ship/tow the truck?2yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/fordranger
How can I prevent paint from cracking on my models? These two are the only ones that show this, but I’d hate for my others to get like this. Stored behind glass and away from the sun.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
My current projects. Top is the finished Toyota 2000GT. Beneath is my 1:8 Eaglemoss DeLorean time machine up to stage 46. Next is the DeAgostini Porsche 911 current to pack 9 (pack 10 arrives tomorrow). Last is the DeAgostini Lamborghini Countach, current to pack 15.3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/ModelCars
Lights for my Lamborghini build were more yellow than I was expecting. Other builders say this is correct though. Model is 1:8 scale DeAgostini Countach. Walter Wolf special3yr ⋅ rangerhans ⋅ r/Diecast
