One of my New Year's resolutions was to cut one dovetail joint every other day. I've cut well over 30 joints since the beginning of the year and I can comfortably say now when I pick up my dovetail saw, I know it's going to turn out well.

Today is my 30th birthday. My wife and I have a rule, if we give each other a gift, we have to keep it the rest of our lives, which makes quality paramount. She surprised me with this Lie Nielsen 62 today. Hopefully I'll get a good 50 years of use out of this tool.
