Was at a small breweries store this week and grabbed one of each beers they had. Labelled „honey beer“ which commonly is just a honey flavored beer. Just realized it’s a full fledged Braggot at 10.7% abv. Extremely delicious! First real Braggot i ever seen in Germany. Would have bought so much more!
Opened up that Capsicumel. Though by closer inspection it’s something different. Besides the chili there is also red wine and more spices. Likely ginger and cinnamon by the taste. Pleasant to sip. Mildly hot. Medium sweet. Label translation „Honey.. ..Chili / mix of Mead & Hippocras with hot spices“
Worst mead maker ever episode 2. Recently i came upon a mead maker who sold me an elderflower blossom mead that was still fermenting at that time. Beside that one he had 2 Cysers. He said they were sour wild apples. Sour apples? This cyser is undoubtedly Acetobacter infected light vinegar. Fuck you!
