My 5 year old found him in the garden today
I've dreamt of doing it for years and have now begun my largest succulent project ever! Here is the beginning phase of transforming an old lava rock wall into a colorful vertical garden.
Maybe, jus maybe if I send out my Aloha from Hawaiʻi~ some of the gardeners in cooler climates will start to see signs of spring 🌺
The most magnificent rainbow I've ever seen! Was out pickin coffee today and this incredible ānuenue appeared.

Here in Hawaiʻi, my compost pile is going crazy too. Tomatoes, chili pepper, passionfruit, papaya and a few mangos that sprouted.
[Big Island, Hawai'i] Large nocturnal moth. Approximately 4x4. Hoping to get an ID and find out if it is endemic. Thank you

An old tree fell down into my garden. On the bright side, it missed my orchids, bell peppers are ripening, seeds are sprouting and more beautiful blossoms!

Someone brought me this beautiful monarch butterfly chrysalis that had fallen from a plant. I want to help it hatch but I'm not sure what to do. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

PSA- If you have outdoor pets or children who garden with you, always be aware of cane toads. I buried my dog this morning :( She was my best friend and my gardening companion. It took less than 15 minutes from the time she bit the toad until she passed on.
