I'd put some KSC75x under the Brainwavz XL earpads on a Monoprice Retro and I've been listening them this way daily for months. Those are now my fav cans, I can't go back to HD660s. If you already have both, I really think it's worth a try, any 2x3.5mm dongle will work. Just tell me if I'm nuts.
