“Karen. Food. Now.” (Fred, age 9, very hungry).
He might be old, but he’s still got it. Fred, age 9.

Fred, aged 9, enjoying the ocean breeze.
Sweet Lump, forever in my heart. There’s never enough time to give them all the love they deserve, but we certainly tried. Goodbye, sweet boy. RIP.

Our vet’s office posted a photo of this little sweetie. I need her!
I went away for a couple days for work. I texted my boyfriend on day 2 to ask what he and Lump were up to. He said “it’s guy time. We’re sittin’ here waiting for the strippers.”
Really missing this guy, and our morning snuggles.
Fred (age 8ish) judging me for his (20 mins) late dinner.
Lump’s not doing so well and I’m just...sad.
Missing person with ties to Everett/Somerville/Rockport
A bulldog’s natural progression of “helping with yardwork”
Lump stayed up too late last night.
We met another bulldog today. His name is Chubbs.
Dad watch me swim! I'm doing it!!
This walk is SO over.
Lump has been informed that our favorite pub is closed due to a broken dishwasher. He wants to let everyone know that he’s up to the task, at least for the “pre-wash”.
Sometimes a bulldog just wants to be carried.
Fortunately Dr. Hammond doesn't mind curbside service for this coughing bulldog, because he did NOT want to get out of the car. She said he'll be feeling better in no time though!
He doesn’t mind a bath, but he respectfully requests you stay the f*ck away from his ears, please and thank you.
We never turn down a walk to the harbor!
I love this guy so much.
I was sitting on the couch leaning forward, and Lump decided it would be comfy to rest his face on my back.
This guy. ❤️❤️❤️
Just livin’ that bulldog life.
Lump’s got the Monday blues.
Just got my acceptance letter, reminiscent of my college application days. 😊
Dog sitting for this guy. He’s already sick of hearing about my day, and is ready to move on to tonight’s dinner specials.
We really need a rotisserie.
The look of a bulldog who has been informed that, no, he is not allowed on the sofa.
I spend an inordinate amount of time kissing this face.
But I DIDN'T eat your ice cream that was on the table, out of my reach. I've been here, in my bed (that I never use), THE WHOLE TIME!
We’re taking it one day at a time. Today was a good day.
He’s sexy and he knows it.
Squallets..100% real genuine squirrel
Fred, age 8ish. Sorry pal, Saturday night means cuddles are happening a bit later than usual.
This little stowaway heard I was picking up pizza, and decided to come along for the ride.
This guy definitely isn’t a bulldog, but he’s staying with me for a few weeks. Although temporary, it’s a baby step after saying goodbye to my sweet Lump a few weeks ago. Thanks, r/bulldogs, for helping me through a terrible time. I still miss Lump so much, and I’m grateful for this community.
Lump found a girlfriend!
Bulldog in repose.
Am I allowed on the bed, or..?
Lump (f/k/a Hulk) says thanks, but no thanks to the ear drops...with a little stink eye just to ensure the message is received.
Gloucester, via iPhone.
This was in the bathroom at Starbucks. Solid. No openings or buttons that I could see. Employees had never seen it before. About the size of a deck of cards.
Love this old girl.
My boyfriend would kill me for sharing this, but let the record show he's the one who initially made the rule of no dogs in the bed.
Lump likes to help in the kitchen.
I need my *own* pillow and blanket, thank you very much.
He's going the distance.
It's morning already?
He has more rolls than a bakery!
Said goodbye to this beauty yesterday, after a couple of difficult months. We decided, together, that it was time, and she passed with dignity and grace, getting all the hugs.
This cutie stopped by to visit us at work today.
CHF has knocked the wind out of his sails. Anyone else have a bulldog on vetmedin/furosemide? What can we expect?
Sunday routine: breakfast and the Times, followed by a nap.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
Gloucester, MA as seen by my iPhone. No filter.
Ben, the most serious beagle ever.
Time for a swim!
There are no words.
I’m pretty sure he just caught a whiff of the brownies in the oven.
I'm trapped underneath a bulldog.
I had to ask the age-old question: who did that?!
I dug these up today. What should I make (tomorrow - because my back hurts so much from digging I don’t think I could stand long enough to cook a meal)?
Fenway Park, 7/16/17. No filter, just a perfectly sunny day (and ridiculously good seats!). x-post
Lucy went to the beauty parlor (x-post)
My mom did a ‘paint and sip’ thing and gave me the painting to hang in my office. Matches great!
[I ate] shrimp and grits with poached eggs and housemade bacon.
An old favorite.
Lucy is so silly!
I’ve been having a rough time lately, and found a box on my doorstep today. A friend of mine painted a picture for me, telling me to recognize the sparkles in all of our mud, when the light passes through just right.
My bff isn't feeling so hot.
I was going through photos to find one good enough to embarrass my mom on her birthday tomorrow. It’s safe to say, she was sufficiently sick of my dad’s shit by that point. 1983.
A little acupuncture to get that pep back in her step! Sure do love that old girl..
My great-grandfather, on an Indian motorcycle. I've been told he used to ride inside the motorcycle cages. ~1920.
Sure do love this guy!
I can’t help thinking that Janes Addiction song was about me, except I was only 4 in this photo. 1982.
My dad, 4 of his brothers, and his dad. 1985
