Rescaped my 10gal for my shrimp.
So I've bought the plant on the right in June 2019 and on the left is what it looks like now. Is it just a young plant or is it malnourished? What can I do to get the marbled leaves?

From my 10gal Nursery came adout 30 Malaysian Trumpet Snails.
Not for bettas but what about shrimp? Amazon.com calls it Aqueon Betta Fall kit. Would this work for shrimp? Of course, I would use live plants & sand, & I have an idea for lighting. Not to sure if I need a heater room temp is about 76°F, if need be a flat heater might fit in the filter.

A bit late but my 60 gal after 9 flagfish cleaned up all the black beard algae. The tank was covered in it, kinda wish I had taken a picture but it was hard to look at.

I'm thinking of getting amano shrimp for my 60g tank because it got hit with beard algae. Are these water parameters ok for them? If not what should I do? I did a water change yesterday, about 25-30%. All tests are API.

It's looking so much better with the 2 aquaclear 50's on instead of the cascade 600 that was in here.

Time of pic 6:30 am sun is actually hitting most of the tank. Will reducing the tank light to 6 hrs be enough to stop algae growth? Tank light is not on in pic.
