Finished this 1:72 Revell Me Bf 109 G-10 today. Painted it as Bf 109 D 1/JG 131, as it is a simple camo, and I am new to historical models and don't have a paint brush. There are a lot of mistakes of course. Especially fitting and decals need work for the next one.

I've had this Peyote for 13 years and I absolutely love it. I got it when it was a single little bulb in a 2 pot. They were rare back then, but sale has been illegal for a decade now, so today they are simply impossible to get a hold of.

Finally got a well lit shot of Genie! I simply turned on the lights and gently touched her foot with my tweezers. She jumped right on them with fearless retribution! And this is how she landed, facing me and ready for round 2. Truly a beautiful, defensive spider - and not one you will try to handle.

Bosse grew a lot after eating the mouse, but he was also pretty much sleeping for a week afterwards. I've fed him twice since, and today is actually the first time he has been really out and ready to eat by himself. The match is for measurement.

I finally got hold of some desert locusts. Bosse slept so fast today, I couldn't even wake him up with the tongs. But when I let loose the locusts, he woke right up! I've never before seen him actively hunt like this. Very cool!

Bosse left his bark hideout today. He was decidedly unhappy with the duscher and tried to bite it. The duscher feared for its safety and retreated. Bosse, satisfied with his performance, crawled back under the bark.

Hermann is beginning to show signs of ageing again. Legs turning grey, cephalothorax getting spots. I got some flak for spraying ciclide sand in there, but it worked out as it should, providing some texture for his feet and his movements has worked it into the soil as expected.

Genie has zero chill. Today she leapt at my tongs twice (the first time 15 cm in the air!), then attacked the cricket with such force, that she actually hit and bounced off the side of the terrarium.. She scares me a little!

Meet The Red Baron. This guy was supposed to be shrimp friendly, but after the disappearance of two of my largest female RCS and discovering the left over head of my big male, I'm not so sure. To be fair, shrimp are too fast for this guy. How he got to three of my four starters, I can only guess.

I finally managed to get a decent, new shot of Genie. She has lost a lot of colour and is balding, so I hope for a molt within a couple of months. She is spreading hair around the enclosure, as evident by my itching hands after using the thermometer. Auch!

Today was moving day for Hermann. The subs had compacted a lot, I wanted to make his hideout better and to also try to mimic Mexican highlands better (hence the sand mix). One angry Hermann all the way through! But I think it is much better for him now. And yes, I have burns all over...!

Seamonkey (Artemia) fresh water trials #1. Left is fresh water, right is fresh water with a tiny amount of baking powder. Each glass has a small amount of eggs added. The water is from my shrimp tank to ensure algae are present.
