I’m trying to help my Korean friend with this test question. I think that 2 and 4 are both incorrect. 2 seems easier, but for 4 I think “what was worse” should be in the present tense. What do you think?

What is the difference between these two radicals? I was taught their names as “basket” and “box,” but they have identical shapes when handwritten, don’t they? There doesn’t seem to be any stroke order differences either...what gives? Sorry, ignore the Korea text...graphs are the same.
