Five months of hard work, finally made it to 4 miles. I will make it to a 10K eventually, but slow and steady (and injury free) will win this race

Week 8 day 2, shaved off 40 seconds. I’ve been finishing off the 5k more often even if it’s a very slow at the end and it feels great.

Did a little speed work alternating faster paced and speed walking at an incline. Allergens and heat making me take it inside, and I just can’t do distance on a treadmill so I had to spice it up haha. Get those miles in.

Well, I’ve lost some water bloat this week and found an old app that lets me compare before and after, I guess this is the official start of week 0 so this will be my “before” photo for this challenge compared to my original “before” (M, 5’11, 211 today)
So, I basically haven’t lost any weight since the challenge started, but I did set 3 new personal records today, so I got that going for me.

My allergies have been terrible, finally cleared up after staying indoors a week so I guess treadmill running is on the menu until grass pollens die down
