Stark's 15-year-old sonic canons are fine against Ms. Marvel, but the DODC should look more like this when they're fighting aliens in Secret Invasion. They've had Chitauri tech for 13 years, Hydra managed to do this in 3. Anti-gravity propulsion and energy rifles & shields should be standard by now.
The DODC has alien tech since 2012 (which, by 2016, Phineas Mason had already reverse engineered and made weapons out of). In 2011, Tony Stark gave ~15 years before Iron Man suits were perfected. The Arc Reactor and Vibranium are floating out there. It's time the armed forces/cops upgrade their gear
