I have been trying to get this adenium to live for like over 2 years now. It would only grow 2 wonky leaves that would shrivel up and die off. I finally got so sick of it not thriving no matter what I tried that I chucked it outside a few weeks ago and it's never looked better!

Can anyone please tell me how to take care of this poor desert rose? I've had it for years and I can't get it right. It'll grow small misshapen leaves, they'll fall off, then new misshapen leaves will grow. It's currently in a bright southern window in the grittiest soil I could find. Water monthly

I took all your advice and moved my compost pile to a 3 square foot hole in the ground. I've got shredded paper, cardboard, kitchen scraps, lawn clippings, and dead leaves that I layered and sprayed with water between layers. I turn it every few days. Am I doing it right?

Had 811 come mark my utility lines in my new backyard. The rose bush was here when I moved in and I kinda want to slap whoever put it there as it is dangerously close to the gas line. The guy said I could hand dig very carefully but the roots are probably already wrapped around the line. Any advice?
